North Shore 2024 - Back the Green & Gold
Over the last couple years, North Shore has continued to compete in the WPL as well as place in the top 4 in the National Club 7s competition. In an effort to attract high-level talent, players as well as coaching staff, the organization has been working hard to build the foundation to achieve these resources. Fundraising and sponsorships are core to supporting these needs but with the help of our supporters, we are able to go further.
Our Mission in 2024
1. Compete in the WPL and Club 7s, which are overlapping competitions, and have full rosters for both. ~35 members on a given weekend
2. Place in the top 4 in the WPL
3. Place in the top 3 in Club 7s
4. Cover 15% of player travel
How we do that
1. Improved training facilities - access to high-quality fields that can be used during all kinds of Midwest weather conditions. ~$12,500
2. Updated equipment - new balls, ruck pads, and additional S&C gear for the field. ~$3,500
3. Additional personnel - (2) dedicated coaches, a team manager and videographer. ~$11,000
4. Travel fund for players - help cover costs. ~$18,000
