Chicago North Shore is Seeking a Club Operations Manager
Chicago North Shore, a Women's Premier League rugby organization in Chicago is looking for a club operations manager for 2024! This role will entail leading club communication with the WPL as well as owning operational tasks leading up to game day as well as during home matches and post event reporting.
This is a paid position that will be reporting into the North Shore Board of Directors.
Responsibilities and Duties:

Prepare schedule of matches for the season/organize WPL matches.

Coordinate referees for the season and communicate with the referee the week of a home game.

Ensure the home game field meets WPL regulations.

Organize travel information for away matches.

Organize hosting and transportation needs for visiting teams.

Communicate all responsibilities and travel details to North Shore.

Primary contact point for all WPL league communications.

Completion of all WPL administrative tasks prior to deadlines as outlines in the league agreement.

Work with NS Board of Directors, coaches, and players to complete above responsibilities on behalf of the club.

Ensure deadlines are met: CMS roster submissions, match report completion for home games, match film uploads for home games, referee feedback to ref coordinator, social media match detail announcements.

Attend quarterly meetings of WPL team Ops Managers with league leadership.

Collaborate with the Match Secretary regarding match day tasks and planning.

About the team:
Chicago North Shore was founded as a DII club and played its first game as a 7s team during the Summer of 1995. North Shore’s first trip to Sweet Sixteens was in 2002 where we placed #10 in the country. In 2010, the team made its first trip to the Division I Final Four and took home 3rd. Finally, in 2011 we made our first trip to the National Championship Finals. We entered playoffs ranked #8 and ended up winning the National championship. We returned to the National Championship Finals in 2014 and 2016, claiming the runners up title both times. In 2017 North Shore joined the Women’s Premier league, competing at the highest level of competition available to women in the United States.
