NS reflects on a successful 2022 and prepares for the WPL season in 2023!

After a history-making year, Chicago North Shore is heading into the offseason. We started 2022 in January with indoor training and group fitness, celebrated a 6th place WPL finish (best in team history) in June, and finished a great year off with a 4th place finish at 7’s Nationals (best finish of any women’s team from Chicago)! North Shore is taking a little time off from organized practices to rest, get stronger, and plan for a successful 2023. Join us on Monday nights at Independence park, 7-9 pm, for skills and games with Coach Trout. Keep an eye out for the start of our preseason workouts in December. If you are itching for more rugby we have a couple of opportunities to share with you. The first is a 15's round-robin on 10/29 again the MN Valkyries and Boston Women in Minnesota. The second opportunity is Freetail 7s, December 30-31 in Texas!

We would like to thank all of our friends, family, and supporters, near and far. The team could not have competed and accomplished what we did without you.
